RTI/KSA Electronic holography systems have been used extensively for performing mode shape analysis on a number of  jet and rocket engine components. Here we will show examples of work done on the following components:

  1. Gas turbine compressor/fan blade

  2. Gas turbine inlet nose cone

  3. Rocket engine turbopump turbine blade

Gas Turbine Compressor/Fan Blade

These series of photos show the various mode shapes of a gas turbine compressor/fan blade at different excitation frequencies.
