Product Information

Recognition Technology, Inc. and Karl Stetson Associates offer a full line of Optical Module configurations, the HG7000 image processor and PCHOLO software optimized for all real-time electronic interferometry applications.

The following is a list and brief description of currently available products of currently available products.

Electronic Processors and Software

The real-time interferometry configurations of holography, shearography, speckle correlation, and projected fringe moiré are all based on the same image processing hardware and software. The different interferometry techniques are realized by changing the optical configuration which are outlined in the next section.

IP7000: High performance video frame grabber and on-board image processor. This full length ISA bus board provide the front end video I/O and processing capability for the real-time interferometry system.

HP7000: High performance co-processor for the IP7000. This full length ISA bus board performs all the computations for the real-time interferometry operations.

MF7002: I/O Control Interface. A single ISA bus board used by the system to interface and control external devices such as the Phase Shifting Mirror, and the etalon rotator.

PCHOLO: The Menu driven user interface program that controls the HG7000 board set to provide a user interface for performing all the real-time interferometry functions.

HG7000: Complete real-time Interferometry processing .bundle.  Consisting of the IP7000 unit, HP7000 unit, MF7002, and the PCHOLO software. This base configuration requires 2 full length and one 1/2 length bus slots in a PC. The user can add these boards to an existing PC or purchase the system pre-integrated into a custom Pentium computer system with 7 ISA bus slots.

SM1020: A full length ISA frequency generator board whose controls have been completely integrated into the PCHOLO software. A single board is used for object excitation and a second slaved board is used for  modulation of the reference beam for generating wrapped phase fringes of vibrating objects.

UNWRAP: A post processing program that will unwrap the wrapped phase output of static mode holograms produced by the PCHOLO software.

UNWRAPB: A post processing program that will unwrap the wrapped phase output of vibration mode holograms produced by the PCHOLO software.

Surfer:   3D plotting software for Windows that allows the unwrapped data files produced by the UNWRAP programs to be visualized as 3-D surface plots.

RGB Display Monitor: Used to display the output of the HG7000 system.

B&W Video Printer: Used to generate hardcopy video prints of the output of the HG7000.

Optical Configurations

K100/COV: Optics breadboard, cover, connectors and cables to integrate any of the following optical modules into a free standing protable optical head.

K100/HOL: Optics modules for performing the  real-time electronic holography function. Features include a fiber optic delivery system for the reference beam, a compact rotary etalon stage for speckle averaging to reduce speckle noise, and the ability to module the reference beam to generate wrapped phase images of vibrating object.

K100/SRG: Optics modules for performing the real-time electronic shearography function. Features include the ability to vary the shear angle.

K100/SPC: Optics modules for performing the speckle correlation function. This function measure in-plane deformations caused by surface expansion or contraction of an object subject to a load.

K100/PFM: Optics modules for performing the projected fringe moire function.

K100/PLH: Optics modules for performing the pulsed holography function.
